Killing Sam Forever is the second book I wrote; written
quickly after my first and, despite what I said earlier, does have
a message.
It’s
sinister and deep in parts and deals with a paraplegic writer’s
quest to seek retribution from the once friend who in a defining moment
caused Sam’s cruel disabilities. A large part of it is written
from a woman’s perspective.
A woman who interviewed me from a radio station said, ‘You’ve
managed to get right into a woman’s mind, something I didn’t
think a man could do.’
Storyline
How does Jerome Millar come to terms with the reincarnation of Sam
Crichton, someone he killed thirty years earlier?
What happens when Sam discovers his wife, Julie, is sleeping with
Jerome; and what does Julie think when she finds out her lover is
the very
man who caused her husbands cruel disabilities.
As the world awaits his autobiography, Sam Crichton's life is about
to fall apart. Despite being used to turning things on their heads
- disability provided the challenge he needed to become a Paralympian
- he is unprepared for a confrontation with the one thing he can't
change; his past.
Sam's wife's infidelity sparks off a series of events that lead ultimately
to the decline of their business and destruction of their marriage.
There is one man behind it all, and that man has already killed Sam
once.
